The Train
Project Overview
The Train is a restrained gothic horror adapted from a short story by Chris Priestley, originally published in Tales of Terror from the Tunnel’s Mouth. The narrative draws on themes of anticipation, unease, and the thin boundary between the everyday and the uncanny, using the familiar setting of a train journey as a site of quiet menace. Rather than overt action, the story builds tension through atmosphere, implication, and the sense that something is fundamentally wrong beneath an apparently ordinary experience.
